The Legend of Lala Island

Lala Island also known as The Island of Music. It is an island where the people are always happy. Lala Island plays music from mother nature. Music fill the air. The people of Lala Island are called the lalaians. Some of them make their own instruments to play along with the island. The royalties are King Major, Queen Melody and their five year old  daughter Rian. They were like any other families. Everyone were treated the same and live equally. Music was their life and without it, life is nothing.  Lala Island has many treasures but their most precious treasure is Queen Melody, she is the heart of Lala Island. One day, Queen Melody died and so did the music. The people were told that one day Queen Melody will be reincarnated and come back to Lala Island and bring back the music but until then King Major banded music and made it hard for outsiders to come to the island. While everyone else dies from old age, Rian remain immortal because she is the guardian of Lala Island, her job is to wait for my arrival. I now know what those dreams mean and what my fate is. I am the reincarnation of Queen Melody and I am here to bring music back to Lala Island. Suddenly music starts playing, the birds are chirping, everyone cheer and Lala Island is once again The Island of Music

Remembering

It's the little girl, the same little girl I see in my dreams, Rian. She is walking along shore and she is heading my way. Is this really happening or am I dreaming again? I walk faster and call out to her: "Rian! Rian!". She look up and sees me. "Mommy!", she cried out and start running towards me with her arms open just like in the dream. I bend down and held my arms open, getting ready to hold her. She ran into my arms, this time I didn't wake up, this is real, she is real. "Mommy what took you so long? I miss you so much", she cries. Suddenly a flashback starts to play. Music, people, king, princess, happy faces, instruments, queen. The queen is me.

Lala Island

I'm on my cousin Barney's ship along with a few of my friends and family. I can't see any land, birds, nor fishes, just water and more water. We've been sailing for weeks now and no sign of Lala Island. It suddenly got dark, is it night time already? I look up, grey clouds, thunder, and lighting, we're heading toward a storm. "No big deal, it's just a storm", said cousin Barney. The waves are getting ruff, the wind was getting strong, the ship is ruffly wobbling right and left, it's raining harder and harder making it hard to see. "what's that?! over there in the water!", Little Annie shouted. Everyone gathered around to take a look. "I-i-it looks like a whirl pool and we're heading towards it! turn the ship around", shouted Uncle Issac. I read about this before, I quickly take the journal out of my bag and in one of the pages it said: '...we try turning back but the whirl pool sucked us in. I was awoken by Sam, I got up and observed. The sand, jungle, water, and music, they're just like how the books described Lala Island. We made it!'. "Don't turn back. Barney, Lala Island is in that whirl pool, go towards it!", I shouted. "You're crazy! ya know if we all die, it's all your fault.", he said frightened . "Trust me! I know what I'm doing", I said with a smile. We head toward the whirl pool, everyone tied themselves together at the bottom of the ship and close their eyes as the whirl pool suck the us in. It went pitch black then all of the sudden I hear sea goals, waves, and someone calling my name: "Maggie, Maggie, where are you? can you hear me?'. I open my eyes, white sand, I got up on one shoulder, and see Little Annie, she sees me too. She runs to me and grab my arm to help me up. "where are we?", she asked. "Lala Island", I said whispered.

The Journey Begins

I was taking a nap and as usual I dreamed of Rian and Lala Island then I heard a voice coming from the distance: "Hey, wake up, wake up", I open my eyes to see what I thought was Rian but was really mom. "Spring is here, ya know what that means: spring cleaning! start in the attic", she said with a smile and hand me a broom and a pair of gloves. Mom and I slowly make our way up to the attic and slowly start taking down boxes. We look through each box, reminiscing each event. I came upon a very old, dusty and wooden box. I open it and inside was a journal, compass, and pictures. I pick up the journal and slowly read the title out loud: "The Legend of Lala Island", I turned to mom and show her the journal. "W-w-what's this?", I mumbled."It's your Grandpa James's journal of Lala Island", she sigh. "So Lala Island is real?! The legend of Lala Island is really real! Grandpa was right! hahaha! that means with grandpa's journal I can go to Lala Island and find out what those dreams mean! I'll no longer have dreams of Rian and dream peacefully! my sleeping schedule will be save!", I cheer with a very big smile on face. I got up and took the box with me. I quickly make some calls, and start packing. The hunt for Lala Island starts tomorrow.

The Dream

It started off like any other dream. A black screen. A strong force of  bright white light pulled me in. It took me to this island. The clear blue waves moved along the shore, the smell of sweet sea weed, the fruity jungle. "Lala Island", I mumbled. I looked around and took a step but couldn't, my body wouldn't move. I tried harder and harder, nothing. It felt like there was a strong force, holding onto me and not letting me go. I saw a little girl in a white dress walking along the shore. I looked at her, and somehow I knew that her name was Rian. I called out to her, she looked up and started running. Tears were running down her face as she ran towards me, she took her arms out as if she was going to hug me, she called out "mommy". Everything suddenly stopped and the only thing I could see was Rian running. My heart thumped, my legs trampled as if I was going to collapse any second. She was about to grab hold of me then I woke up, crying. I could still see her face and hear her cries as I took deep breathes. This is the tenth time I've had this dream and I've always ask myself the same questions. Who is that little girl? Why did she called me mommy? Is Lala Island really real?
